Sandur taluk is experiencing extensive mining in the village area leading to problems in agriculture for farmers in the taluk region. They are facing heavy losses due to mining as it is affecting the agricultural produce in the village. Village residents will have to think about their future employment due to this. Also, the village population is suffering from respiratory diseases like Tuberculosis, Asthma, etc. The dust particles in the air of the region are affecting the people’s health. The patients when reaching the village Public Health Centres, are welcomed by empty seats where no doctors are found.
