The number of people learn to swim in Karnataka has reduced since the reopening of swimming schools post-lockdown. The Karnataka Swimming Association said that there has been a 45-50 percent decrease in the numbers of learners. Most of the learners are between the ages of 5 and 14 and parents fear that their children are not immune to the virus
