Sumanahalli flyover is reopened to light motor vehicles after 2 weeks.

Parts of the Sumanahalli Bridge collapsed a couple of week ago. The debris was first noticed by the traffic policemen who close the flyover.

Chief Engineer N Vijaya Kumar says “Sumanahalli flyover construction was started during 2010 and it completed in 2017, and right now during the execution time crumbling has happened. To minimize that due to lack of corporation and other things the hole has been happened, so that we are rectifying it using core cutting method. And right now we are allowing only LMV vehicles in the flyover.”

the bridge is open for the public to use and heavy vehicles will not be allowed on it until further notice.
