Passengers from Maharashtra and Kerala are to be tested before entering the city.
Around 20 busses come from these states to Majestic everyday accounting to 1000 passengers but on an average only 100 are getting tested. “I didn’t want to get tested but I had to as they caught me. I am scared as they put it in my mouth and nose. But I get it they are doing it for good.” says a passenger.
But many passengers are not willing to get tested this makes it difficult to monitor.
“Some people don’t come for testing, some come by their own and some come and scold us and don’t get tested. “ says Sudha, BBMP staff. Meanwhile the BBMP marshals are enforcing the implementation of covet tests people don’t happen to cooperate.
