Farmers in Nityananda nagara have lost their ragi crops to heavy rains so the farmers are in distress.
Karnataka State Department of Agriculture says that 2.8 lakh out of 5 lakh hectares of ragi crop has been wiped out due to the unexpected rains in Karnataka. Most of the farmers have invested around 10 thousand rupees per acre and, they have lost their invested money.
