Bengaluru: Agarbatti manufacturing workers in Bengaluru have not received the benefit of Annual Medical Check-up Camps under the Karnataka Labor Welfare Board benefits. The medical health check-up benefits are available to workers between the ages of 18 to 60 years without a wage limit. Welfare boards are provided Rs.1 lakh from the worker welfare funds to sponsor these camps. However, the unawareness of worker unions’ and authorities’ became a barrier to avail these benefits to the beneficiaries.
