The national family health survey (NFHS) shows a 20% increase in women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Experts say that lifestyle changes, such as a reduction in physical activity, due to covid, have exacerbated the situation.Severe PCOS can sometimes lead to complete infertility among women. While the condition cannot be cured, it’s symptoms can controlled.
