Bengaluru: Doctors in the city notice an increase in the number of patients suffering from Urinary tract infections. Dr. Kashika Aggarwal, the Gynecologist, said many infections occur due to a lack of basic information and unhygienic surroundings. He also said that one in every three will have an asymptomatic UTI that requires antibiotic therapy. Dr. Meera Jindal, a Urologist, said drinking liquids focusing on female and menstrual hygiene can prevent these issues.
