Demand for herbal and organic skincare products is on the rise as more consumers are choosing these products over chemically-laced ones.
Bengaluru: A joint study carried out by The Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) and MRSS India says that India’s herbal skincare market is projected to grow at a rate of 19%. The survey also highlights that 71 percent of people prefer natural creams and lotions over other chemical-based products in that category. The market is currently valued at Rs. 316 billion.
